This highly anticipated annual event had over 300 people in attendance to celebrate the outstanding businesses in the region while highlighted the Shoalhaven’s success stories and promoted it as an investment destination. With categories aligned with larger award programs, businesses had the opportunity for broader recognition and competition, showcasing their achievements to the region.

Bluejuice Events managed BlueScope’s MCL7 Launch Event at the Western Sydney Service Centre on August 11th, 2023. The event celebrated a $415 million expansion of metal coating capacity at the Erskine Park site, ensuring smooth logistics. BlueScope’s Managing Director & CEO, Mark Vassella, attended alongside roughly 50 invited guests to unveil the news.

Bluejuice Events ensured the smooth running of the Association of Catholic School Principals in NSW conference at Novotel Wollongong North beach from May 16th to 19th, 2023. The three day conference saw over 300 faces attend to witness the new conference theme, “New Hope, New Growth: A Celebration of Catholic Educational Leadership”. Attendees enjoyed comprehensive program offerings and special events over the three days, leaving energised and inspired to lead with renewed hope and vision.

Bluejuice Events organised the Inaugural Australian Domestic, Family, and Sexual Violence Recovery and Healing Conference: The Right to Recovery at Novotel Wollongong North Beach on May 4th and 5th, 2023. The conference housed 350 in attendance, which aimed to address trauma recovery and healing in combating gender-based violence, featuring discussions around the Four Pillars of Recovery. With national and international speakers, the event promoted collaboration and showcased best practices to drive investment in healing and recovery support nationwide.

Bluejuice Events organised the International Women’s Day Luncheon at the WIN Entertainment Centre on March 3rd, 2023, which housed an impressive 950 people in attendance. The event, themed “Embracing Equity,” celebrated women’s achievements and advocated for gender equity. Distinguished presenters, including Amna Karra-Hassan and Karen Lee Andrews, shared inspiring stories of leadership and creativity, empowering attendees to break barriers and drive positive change. Their experiences underscored the importance of creating pathways for empowerment and positive change within the community!
International Women’s Day Luncheon
Bluejuice Events orchestrated the Australia Day Awards Lunch, held at the City Beach Function Centre in Wollongong. The event honoured outstanding citizens nominated for the Australia Day Awards 2023. Over 100 guests celebrated nominees’ achievements and awaited the announcement of award recipients. It was a memorable gathering, embodying the community’s spirit of excellence.

The University of Wollongong’s graduating students of 2019, 2020, 2021 were able to come together for a formal face-to-face graduation ceremony on the grounds of the University. It was our role to create a formal event space to house all the graduating students, their guests as well as an accessible stage and an overflow area for post ceremony celebrations. By utilising a sports hall and hockey field, we were able to work with suppliers to create a completely new and purpose built space for the 6 ceremonies over 3 days.

The event took place at The Groundz at Dapto and featured family stage entertainment, food trucks, community stalls and networking.

The NSW Department of Primary Planning Industry and Environment and the Wollongong City Council contracted Bluejuice Events to manage a Family Movie Night in conjunction with Northern Illawarra Chamber of Commerce. The event was meant to take place in a park, however, endless rain found us in a car park with food trucks, ice cream and watching Mary Poppins Returns on a big outdoor screen.
